Portraits of loved ones, pets, even special objects, not only make heartfelt gifts, they become treasured heirlooms in your family for generations to come. A range of mediums are available. Patrons receive a detailed proposal in writing and are involved in the process along the way. Commissions require three-nine months depending on size and medium.
As part of Cantigny’s Voyage en France, I will be at the gardens providing a drop-in drawing experience. All materials are provided along with instruction. Choose to draw the national flower of France, the iris, a rose, or have some fun with flour de-lis stencils. Work in colored pencils, watercolor pencils or graphite pencils. Stay as long or as little as you like!
Saturday, July 20, 10 am – 4 pm
Admission to the entire day costs: Adults: $20
Ages 15 and under: Free. No additional cost for the drop-in drawing program.
